His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, honored the Supreme Committee for overseeing the National Strategy to Combat Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with a number of concerned ministers and senior officials in the country.

His Highness the President of the State awarded His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan the "Union Medal", while members of the committee, along with a number of ministers and concerned senior officials, were awarded the "Zayed II Medal" of the first class, in recognition of their efforts and the success achieved by the committee in removing the UAE's name from the "enhanced monitoring list" by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the international organization concerned with combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
