Service Eligibility Requirements (You Should Know)
Criminal Status: The applicant must be of good conduct and behavior, and has not been previously convicted of a felony or misdemeanor that violates honor or honesty, even if his reputation has been restored.
A valid office license for commercial activity as an expertise office (in the case of the applicant being an office owner).
His practical experience in the field of expertise to be accredited must not be less than five years following graduation for a citizen expert and 15 years for a non-citizen.
Requirements and Documents
Fitness Certificate: Must be medically fit to perform the duties of their profession.
Professional Liability Insurance Document: A copy of a valid insurance contract for a period of 3 years from the registration expiration date, covering professional liability, issued by a licensed insurance company in the country.
No-Objection Certificate from the employer (if the applicant is a government employee).
Lease Agreement (if the applicant is the owner of an office).
Service Fee Details
Expert Test Fee: 300 AED
Expert Registration Fee for three years: 3,000 AED
Government employees are exempt from fees

What Documents Are Required to Be Attached with the Expert Registration Request?
Passport
Certificate from a recognized university or institute in the field of translation.
Equivalency of the certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education in the UAE.
Experience in the field of translation in the required language of no less than (5) years after graduation (except for UAE nationals).
Approval from the employer (or a valid office license if the individual is the office owner or a partner).
