Conditions for obtaining the service (you must know)
Criminal status: The applicant must be of good conduct and has not previously been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor against honor or trust, even if he has been rehabilitated.
Employment contract: There must be an existing employment contract between the translator and the translation office.
A valid office license for commercial activity such as a translation office in the case of (the applicant is an office owner).
Taking into account the conditions stipulated in Article (5) of the Decree-Law, the following requirements are required for a sign language interpreter to be registered in the roster:
To be highly competent in communicating in sign language and spoken language.
To be understanding of the deaf, their characteristics, and culture.
To have direct contact with deaf individuals and groups in various places, such as deaf clubs and events.
To have diverse skills for different translation situations, such as educational, health, legal, television, and others.
His practical experience in the field of translation should not be less than five years following graduation, and the citizen is excluded from the period of experience.
Academic qualification: Must have an accredited qualification from a recognized university or institute.

Professional Insurance Policy: A copy of the professional liability insurance policy valid for 3 years from the date of registration expiry, issued by an insurance company accredited in the country.
Experience Certificate: Must have at least five years of practical experience in the field of translation after graduation; citizens are exempt from the experience requirement.

Legal Translator Test Fee: 300 AED

What documents are required to be attached to the marriage contract application?
Passport
A certificate from a recognized university or institute in the field of translation.
Certificate equivalency from the Ministry of Higher Education in the Emirates.
Experience in the field of translation in the required language of no less than (5) years after graduation (UAE citizens excluded).
Approval of the employer (or a valid office license if the individual is the office owner or a partner).
